ALO Aloe Vera Juice Drink Review
We typically view Aloe Vera as something that’s used to treat those unpleasant red burns we get during the Summer, when we unintentionally – or intentionally – forget to apply sunblock. However, the uses for it stretch far beyond a simple blister ointment; for centuries Aloe Vera has been used medicinally.
In places such as early China and ancient Rome, it was consumed to treat stomach as well as gum problems, and even to stop hair loss! So, it’s not a surprise that Aloe is still in use today as a natural method to heal and help with different ailments.
One such product, ALO Exposed Aloe Vera Juice, is the top natural Aloe beverage on the market – providing the greatest benefits the plant has to offer. While other similar drinks contain artificial ingredients such as gellan gum, xantham gum, thickeners, or emulsifiers – ALO Exposed contains real pieces of aloe inside of their product.
Low-Priced and Healthy?
Due to my reoccurring stomach issues, I try to avoid drinks which contain artificial chemicals, sweeteners, and preservatives. Yet, as most brands tend to include some sort of synthetic substance, such as high fructose corn syrup, in their beverages, my drink choices have been narrowed down to a scant few.
Not to mention, it’s difficult to discover varieties of so-called ‘healthy’ beverages that aren’t over-priced. Let’s be serious – no one wants to pay over $6 for just one bottle of product – even if it does promise to simultaneously strengthen your immune system and cure every ailment known to man.
ALO Exposed is neither filled with artificial substances or overpriced. Instead, a pack of 12 costs $18, a little over $1.50 per bottle – about what you would expect to pay for a cheap pack of gum. However, you’re not sacrificing quality in return for the low price point; the product only contains natural additives, such as citric acid and vitamin C. Both of which – luckily for me – don’t cause belly aches, and are beneficial for the body.
Remedy and Healer
As mentioned before, while it’s common knowledge that Aloe assists in healing skin irritations such as burns and rashes; the plant has also been proven to heal symptoms of IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), diabetes, and help the immune system – perhaps the ancients were on to something!
ALO Exposed is no exception regarding its ability to remedy ailments. Many of those who drink the product regularly find it helps soothe a multitude of physical problems, especially digestion-related issues. So, it’s worth a try if you’re interested in improving your overall health – chiefly that of your stomach.
Taste and Texture
Flavor: The simple ingredients of ALO Exposed ensure that it’s taste is refreshing, but not too overpowering – with the honey added giving a sugary but natural flavor to the drink. The simplicity of the beverage also keeps it from having an unpleasant synthetic after-taste – which can happen when too many artificial sweeteners are added to a product.
Consistency: The added aloe chunks gives the drink a thicker consistency than your average beverage. Yet, it isn’t stringy like the pulp typically found in orange juice. ALO Exposed still maintains its smoothness, while still giving the consumer the fun of nibbling on those little added pieces.
