Sound can be an extremely powerful meditation and energy balancing tool. 182 Hz music, for example, seems to resonate specifically with the solar plexus, which makes it ideal for any kind of meditation that involves this chakra.
Music has long been used in rituals and similar spiritual practices to help attune people with their own minds and bodies – in fact, one of the ways I personally first learned how to perform deep meditation and pranayama was with trance music. The use of music in this manner dates back to the very origins of society, where we see evidence of drum circles, reed instruments, and singing as different kinds of tools used to shape and shift energy.
Solar Plexus Chakra: Your Seat of Power
It is said that the solar plexus is your body’s energy center.
While the Dan Tien, a large auxiliary chakra located somewhat beneath and in front of the solar plexus chakra is our true “well-spring” of prana, the solar plexus chakra is indeed very much connected to our body’s raw states of power. It’s element is fire and is associated with the warmth and power of the body, as well as overall bodily balance.
It’s not a coincidence that this chakra is connected with our digestive system, as the digestive system is the symbolic “furnace” that powers the body. It is there that complex structures (foods) are transmutated (broken down) into raw elements and energy.
It’s this ability to transmute substances, on a subatomic level, that define the solar plexus.
Harmonzing its energy can go a long way in making your body feel better and more balanced. Music that touches the frequency of the solar plexus has the ability to soothe digestion and increase energy after meditation. Just visualize energy pouring through your core as you listen to the music, while performing the proper breathing meditations.

Hi Matthew Lovett,
I was wondering if this music has copyrights? if so, is it possible to use this music for a dance film? the film is an assessment project for university, no longer than 5min.
thank you,
Kind regards
Sarah Francis
As long as it’s just used for university purposes and does not involve personal profit, I’m pretty sure you could use it. But I would check with the owner of the YouTube channel, as copyright differs wildly on Youtube and depending on circumstance.
