Attention Everyone Looking for a Healthier, Stronger YOU.
I know what you must be thinking, does plant-based protein really work? Sure, it might have a few more vitamins, and maybe it’s better for the environment or something, but how does that translate into performance at the gym?
Listen, we’ve been there too. None of the plant-protein athletes we know started out using this stuff, but they made the switch, and now they’re absolutely CRUSHING it. Why?
Let’s talk about the gorilla for a second. Stay with me, you’re about to have your ah ha moment!
Ever wonder how a tiny 5 pound baby gorilla grows up to be a hulking 350 pound behemoth? You figure, they have to be chowing down on some powerful, lean protein, right?
Not many people are aware of this, but gorillas don’t even eat meat. ….wait, what?
Got your attention now?
So how does a tiny infant transform into a mighty Silverback gorilla?
Plants, of course.
The gorilla diet consists almost 70% of fruit, and the rest in leafy green vegetation, with the occasional termite thrown in. That’s right: the muscles of the greatest of apes form from eating tropical fruits and foliage.
How can this be?? We’re taught from childhood that meat is the only complete source of protein, and the protein found in plants, such as in lentils and rice, is weak and imcomplete.
This is an enduring myth, but a myth all the same. ALL plants have proteins, and yes, all proteins in plants can be readily absorbed and used by the body. Take a look at our physiology: our closest relatives are the great apes, and they are classified as frugivores. That means, they extract most of their nutrients from FRUIT!
We see the light bulbs coming on from here. Vegan body builders and numerous athletes have been tapping into this “secret” for years now, and reaping the rewards: improved stamina, lightning fast metabolism, bigger gains, quicker recover times, and stronger immune systems.

Discover Why Plant Protein Has Been Popping up on Shelves EVERYWHERE
I have been having this product everyday for the last year as supplement for my workout regiment. I liked it because it tastes good and somewhat like what I would expect vanilla shake to taste. Simple and straight forward, delicious while your drinking it with no strange after state. I assumed that other plant based protein powders would taste the way, so just to try something I tried the protein powder from Vega. It had a very strong saccharine taste, and left a very strong after taste in my mouth. Needless to say, I quickly came back here and placed an order on this.

I add this to my morning smoothie and it is delicious and easy to digest. I have Crohn’s disease so I am always looking for an easily digestible protein that is also palatable. I have tried to like hemp protein powders but my sweet tooth just isn’t a fan of those. My favorite recipe is plain unsweetened almond milk, frozen pineapple chunks, frozen or fresh banana and two scoops of vanilla powder blended in my Vitamix. I will repurchase.
