Raise Your Vibration

5 Ways to Raise Your Vibration Quickly

Feeling emotionally drained, frustrated, or directionless? These are signs you may be living at a low vibration.

To actually raise your vibration, you must be willing to shift your mindset.

Although changes to diet, location, and lifestyle can contribute to a higher state of energy, these often take a while to commit to. If you are looking for something quicker that is equally reliable, the 5 techniques we will cover below will help restore your energy and get you back on track.

Your body and mind have their own natural vibrations that correspond with different states of being. Everything is energy, even physical matter, and this energy determines how we “feel,” and what circumstances we may experience.

Everything is Energy
Everything is energy, and this energy shifts depending on your mindset. A negative mindset can lead to a dull, lackluster life. However, by changing your mindset, you can literally change your vibration.

Depending on your mindset, you can slide into a low vibratory state, where it can feel as though nothing goes right and you just feel out of sorts.

The answer to this is not to make drastic physical changes, but to look inward.

By changing your mental state, you can easily shift energy in your favor, which can lead to a higher vibration. The following techniques are tried and true methods for developing inner peace and cultivating a high vibration lifestyle.

1. Get Out of Your Head and Into the Moment

One of the easiest ways to raise your vibration is to simply go with the natural flow of life instead of living inside your head so much.

What does it mean to “live” in your head? Here are a few examples many of us can relate to:

  • Constantly worrying about future events.
  • Playing out scenarios in your head (usually negative).
  • Caring about what other people think of you, how they perceive you, how they might be judging you.
  • Getting caught up in your emotions (feeling left out of a conversation because you “think” you’re being ignored, versus the reality of the situation).
  • Endlessly picking apart the past, wondering what you could have done better.
  • Having dozens of little expectations and attachments that dictate how you think other people should behave around you, how events should unfold, etc.

All of this is extremely limiting, toxic behavior that is keeping you at a low vibration.

Central to all of these different thinking patterns is this idea that life isn’t currently how it should be. That it “went wrong” or “isn’t going your way,” and that somehow by deliberating over the situation, it will somehow shift or you will magically find resolution.

In reality this is just the ego trying to save face.

You will immediately raise your vibration once you decide to just let life be the way it is. Learn to flow with reality instead of fighting against it.

Over time, going with the flow like this will actually enable you to gain greater control over your life. It is known as living in alignment, what some call listening to the Tao

2. Stop Comparing Yourself to Others

Needlessly comparing yourself to other people in any way is a low vibrational state of mind.

A mind that compares is a mind that has no concept or appreciation for oneness.

Not only are you “a part” of the people you are judging and comparing yourself to, they are a reflection of you.

We are all connected, not only on a subatomic level but on a deeply spiritual one as well.

To judge another or “compare” your style, successes, or lifestyle with that of another, is to infer that we are all separated and that somehow physical parameters indicate intrinsic worth.

This state of mind will always keep you at a low vibration, and provides no kind of benefit. If you want to live a high vibration lifestyle, you have to stop comparing yourself to others.

You also must overcome the need to judge others based on arbitrary physical attributes. A meritless judgement always stems from the ego.

Once you give up the need to compare yourself to others, you will be able to better focus on personal growth.

3. Spend Time in Nature

It may sound cliche at this point, but spending time outdoors is important for both mental health and physical well-being.

Given that we spent millions of years evolving alongside nature, this should go without saying. The fact that we need reminding of this is proof alone that our modern society often distorts reality and carries with it a low vibration.

Spending Time in Nature Raises Vibration
The natural world is full of healing energies that can help raise your vibration.

There is a wealth of scientific research on the healing power of nature. We are genetically wired to find the sight of the natural world soothing.

Before even highlighting the important physical benefits of nature, it’s worth noting that we have a growing body of proof that nature is healthy for us from a psychological standpoint.

Even the addition of houseplants into indoor settings has been studied rigorously, and the evidence is clear: plants heal us.

Here a few other key benefits of nature that make it an essential part of maintaining a high vibration:

  • Sunlight is the primary way we generate Vitamin D, which is an essential nutrient involved in the absorption of calcium, magnesium, and phosphate.
  • Vitamin D deficiency is also linked to depression. It has been shown that sunlight naturally boosts mood.
  • Negative ions, which are present near shorelines and after rain storms, and are associated with positive mental stimulation, lower blood pressure, and may even bolster the immune system.
  • Indoor air, while viable, is often lacking a fine balance of oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide. Fresh air is properly balanced and therefore ideal for health.
  • Natural aromatherapy. There is a wealth of plant-based particles in the air that work to contribute to an overall feeling of wellness.
  • Getting outside naturally realigns your circadian rhythms, which are integral to a balanced sleep schedule. Sleep, of course, being one of the key elements of a healthy lifestyle.

4. Practice Gratitude Every Day

Gratitude is incredibly powerful. It automatically shifts your perspective and can help put you in a healthier frame of mind.

Even if you are experiencing difficulties, it’s important to work from a grateful mindset.

For one, ingratitude is an extremely low vibrational state of being that can lead to resentment, emotional hardness, and mental inflexibility.

Genuine gratitude also helps to reinforce your ability to attract good things into your life.

To be thankful what your current life experiences is to signal to your subconscious that it is doing a good job. Since we are creators of our own experience, to practice ingratitude toward your own life is to subconsciously program yourself with negative reinforcement, thus rendering you ineffectual.

This is why in most spiritual traditions, gratitude is a part of living a life in alignment with higher forces.

Even if it seems counterintuitive to be thankful for what you have even if it is a negative situation, the very state of mind that being thankful reflects enables you to change the path you are on and attract better circumstances.

One thing is certain, you will never “negative mindset” your way into better circumstances.

Most of the time you are confusing arbitrary physical events with your higher purpose anyway. Just because your physical circumstances may appear “bad” on the surface, it is not your role to question it. You might be in such a situation to learn a specific lesson, perhaps to understand how to be thankful.

Gratitude is a high vibration mindset that gives you greater control over the direction of your life and simply helps keep you rooted in the moment.

5. Be Kinder to Yourself

Self-criticism and self-deprecation are popular behaviors, but they aren’t useful or beneficial in any way.

It’s perfectly fine to acknowledge a flaw or issue in yourself that needs correcting, and then making the necessary adjustments to correct said issue.

However, wallowing in self-loathing and pity, making fun of yourself (even in jest), putting yourself down in any way, these are all low vibration behaviors that can have startling consequences.

To understand why this is, you have to look at how the mind operates.

Our subconscious minds are very fickle, yet play a huge role in determining the direction and circumstances of our life.

The subconscious mind can’t differentiate between existential reality, and thought. This is why you can raise your own heart rate and get yourself emotional or angry simply by “thinking” about certain circumstances.

Much of our waking behavior and thought patterns are dictated by our subconscious minds. It is this level of the mind that is closely tied to the subatomic plane, and is what influences the world around us on a subtle level.

The subconscious is always running in the background, providing a kind of internal program by which our waking conscious operates. Yet, our conscious minds can influence our subconscious with programming.

If you are constantly putting yourself down, your subconscious will “believe” what you say, and then wall off sensory input to the contrary. This is how people develop psychological barriers and worldviews that are contrary to reality. It’s also how people create “self fulfilling prophecies.”

Your subconscious can either be your greatest weapon or your own prison, depending on what you tell yourself and the mindset you hold.

Mental Prison
These bars aren’t real. They are only a product of your mindset.

If you have a negative mindset, your outer world will always begin to reflect these thoughts. The subconscious is responsible for everything from the “look” in our eyes, to our body language, to habits and ticks, the way we react in certain situations, and even our very perception of the physical world.

It is imperative that you treat yourself with respect and kindness and “program” your mind with good thoughts.

This is a secret “life hack” that the powerful and successful have used for thousands of years to gain leverage and move through society. Self-programming and mental control is everything. You are either feeding your mind poison and self-sabotaging your life, or you are “programming” your mind with what it needs to help you grow and live your best life.

Much like practicing gratitude and the other points highlighted above, you can immediately start treating yourself with kindness. You don’t need a masterclass or special ritual in order to raise your vibration. All you need is the willingness to change and the correct direction to take your consciousness.
