We work hard to reach powerful states of consciousness using meditation, yoga, trance, mantras, and other mindfulness techniques. But what if there was a way to slip into these states of conscious automatically?
This guide will outline how to manifest abundance while you sleep, with easy to follow visualization techniques and affirmations.
The Theta Dream State
The Theta dream state (frequency between 3.5 and 7.5 Hz) has long been associated with our ability to manifest. Deep forms of meditation work on similar frequencies.
When we are asleep, the ego is largely out of the picture. This allows our creative side to shine through.
Astral projection and a wide variety of other spiritual phenomena take place while we are sleeping – there is even evidence, from a hermetic point of view, that the whole reason why we dream is to help process energy (karma) across dimensions.
The dream state is incredibly powerful, so it’s perfect for manifestation work.

Manifesting Abundance With Affirmations
Manifesting abundance while you sleep is actually quite natural. There is a body of thought within the mystic community that sees the dream state as a time of spiritual work.
It is in this state that we naturally engage in spiritual endeavors. Dreams can teach us a lot about who we are, the problems we face, and what our future holds depending on the choices we make.
It is in this reflective state of mind that you are able to manifest seamlessly.
One easy way to “ride the frequency” of the dream state is to practice affirmations right before you drift off to sleep.
This technique almost seems too easy, but it is actually quite effective.
- Wait until you are already in bed and are close to drifting off to sleep.
- Pick a short mantra or affirmation. “Money finds me.” (The reason why this is a good affirmation for dream work is because it evokes a fantasy element, almost as if money has sentience and is seeking you out. This is the kind of imprint you want to put into your subconscious, because it is powerful.)
- Repeat the mantra softly out loud. This is important. The spoken word helps to solidify the train of thought within your subconscious.
- If it helps, practice deep breathing. This will not only help you fall asleep, but will add strength to each affirmation.
- Finally, begin repeating the affirmation in your mind only. You don’t necessarily need to visualize anything. If any thoughts do arise in your mind, don’t push them away. This is a time of creativity. Let your energy sort out the specifics – if you “think too hard” before bed, you will have trouble falling asleep, which is obviously counterproductive.
The point of this exercise is to lodge the affirmation into your subconscious while you are sleeping. Repeating this technique night after night is a great way to manifest abundance while you sleep.
Manifesting Abundance With Visualization
A step up from affirmations, you can use visualization to put form around what you want to manifest.
There are several ways you can go about using visualization for manifestation, especially when dreams are involved.
The easiest technique looks much like the last exercise.
- Simply form a picture in your head of the state of being you want to embody right before bed.
- It may help to draw the image or find a photo that represents what you want so you can get a better visual.
- Concentrate on it gently every night before you go to sleep.

Early on in my spiritual development I learned about the power of lucid dreaming. This is a more advanced technique but can yield amazing results.
- First, pick a lucid dreaming trigger. This should be something that’s slightly uncommon but that you have a good chance of seeing in most dreams. Such as a particular item in your room.
- Meditate on this item at length, imprinting this directive: “When I see this sign, I know that I am dreaming.”
- It may take weeks, but eventually, if you work hard enough, this item will begin to appear more frequently in your dreams. When you see the item while dreaming, it will act to trigger lucid dreaming. In this state, you will have conscious control over your Self no matter “where” you are or what form you embody while astral projecting at night.
- In this awakened dream state, you can then practice visualization on a whole new level.
- You may even want to experiment with on the spot manifestation while dreaming, such as making money appear in your hand on command.
- This process energetically aligns you with a state of being where you possess this wealth.
Over time and with repeated attempts, this can be an incredibly powerful way to manifest abundance.
Manifest Abundance Passively
Although the act of manifestation often seems like a lot of work, you will get the best results if you have a passive approach to the work you put in.
The idea of manifesting abundance while you sleep is similar to the idea of making money while you sleep or learning a language while you sleep. Passive income, subliminal training, at the end of the day we’re all looking for easier ways to get what we want.
The law of attraction works based on alignment with frequencies and the strength / purity of intent, nothing more.
In this case, it makes sense that you would want to live in such a way that is conducive to constant passive manifestation.
Here are some tips to help you manifest abundance while you are sleeping or at any time of the day:
- Put reminders of what you are manifesting around your house.
- Surround your Self with people who already have what you are trying to manifest.
- Listen to powerful, uplifting music that amplifies your ability to attract what you want.
- Add crystals for manifesting abundance throughout your home, such as green jade, pyrite, green aventurine, and citrine.
- Work on your views toward money. You can’t manifest wealth if you hate people who are wealthy, for instance.
- Practice good spiritual hygiene. Forgive and forget, release any pent up emotions or negative thoughts you might have at the end of each day, and be grateful for what each day brings.
- When praying or asking the universe for anything, don’t “ask.” Accept what is and position your Self to receive what you know is coming (according to what you have aligned your Self with, of course).
- This should go without saying but, leave enough time each night for a good night’s sleep. You can’t manifest while you’re sleeping if you don’t even get enough sleep to enter into the right dream state for an extended period of time.
Dream Warrior Work
Dreams are the true “last frontier.” Ultimately, it is within the dream state where you will conduct some of your most significant self-work.
Sages throughout history have devised a multitude of ways to induce dreamlike states and altered states of consciousness at will, because we know how powerful it is to be aligned on these frequencies.
The dream state is your bridge to a world of infinite possibilities, so if you are truly intent on manifesting anything, especially while you sleep, I recommend focusing on dream warrior work as an essential part of your spiritual practice.
Essentially, dream work of this kind is simply lucid dreaming of a kind, but more purposeful. You go into each night understanding that you are currently on several missions of a spiritual nature, and that you are dreaming in order to gather as much intel and do as much work as possible.
This can mean many things, but as it concerns manifestation, there is some powerful link between completing tasks in the dream state and manifesting in this world.
As you learn how to dream deeper (that is, astral project on frequencies further and further away from this world), you realize that your spiritual journey is multifaceted.

The traditional view that we are caught in samsara, repeating 1 life on 1 world in order to evolve and obtain enlightenment is valid, insomuch as it pertains to this dimension only.
In reality, we are in a multiverse, and our oversoul exists on many different dimensional frequencies simultaneously, as is simply the nature of the way reality is built.
Understanding this, we can better see the significance of dreams and how powerful they can potentially be for furthering our collective evolution.
Important tips for dream manifestation:
- Keep a dream journal. You should be doing this anyway as it is a powerful self-growth practice. Always write your dreams down, no matter how fragmented or nonsensical they appear to be. Over time, and as you tune in to certain frequencies better, you will dream with greater clarity.
- Solidify your lucid dreaming trigger so that you can confidently “wake up” within your dreams on a regular basis. The more you are able to consciously explore your dreams with your current mindset, the better.
- Train in your dreams. Depending “where” you end up on a regular basis may determine some of the psionic and psychokinetic skills you may have access to, as well as other interesting faculties, but remember that everything you do to better your Self in your dreams will have residual effects here.
- Dedicate some time every week to meditate on the content in your dreams, especially who you meet, how you feel in the dreams, and any “issues” that you encounter. Unblocking and coming to terms with the conditions within your dreams will enable you to manifest while you are sleeping even better. Fewer energy blocks = greater manifestation power.
Sleep is Not a Waste of Time
There is a common strain of thought that sees sleep as somewhat of a waste of time. We spend so much time sleeping, wouldn’t it be better to have that time back in order to do “more important things?”
Well, outside of recharging our body from a physical point of view, sleeping is actually an essential part of our metaphysical makeup. You can do incredibly effective work while you are in a dream state, so it is in your best interest to follow the tips and techniques outlined above.
You can manifest abundance while you sleep while also learning more about your Self and possibly even improving your overall lifescape. First, realize the importance that sleep plays, and don’t treat it like a nuisance.
This is the perfect time every day to perform meaningful work, program your subconscious to manifest what you want, and also explore the inner recesses of your mind in order to progress on your spiritual journey.
